World University Games: Pakistan’s women’s athletics relay race rejected

Pakistani female athletes have been disqualified from the relay race at the World University Games.

Athletes are not allowed to step more than once on the border line along their track by law.

The second-place runner on the disqualified Pakistan relay team stepped on the border line more than twice.

The team members were first shown video evidence of the violation before being declared eligible.

According to sources, the whereabouts of the two athletes in the Pakistani squad are still unknown, as both athletes have not been with the other athletes for 3 days.
