FESCO Announces Electricity Closure Schedule
The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has announced a schedule for planned power outages in various neighborhoods of the city. This temporary power interruption is essential for conducting necessary maintenance, upgrades, and urgent repairs on the power lines and grid stations.
A spokesperson from FESCO stated that on July 30, certain areas will experience a loss of electricity due to these activities.
From 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, power supply will be disrupted for the Khanoana, Bhawana, Mangoana, and Ahmad Nagar feeders that are connected to the 132 kV Bhawana Grid Station.
In addition, from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM, regions associated with the 132 kV Khurrianwala Grid Station—including Fakhraabad, Lathianwala, Rafique Spinning, WAPDA City, Forest Park, Farooq Spinning, Khurrianwala City, Lahore Road, MK Sons, Interloop, New MK Sons, Firdous, Saboana, NADRA, and Wadi Sitara feeders—will also undergo outages. Likewise, power will be cut off in the Johal (SEL) and Ziarat (SEL) areas that are supplied by the 132 kV Bandala Grid Station.
Other feeders that will be impacted include Shahbaz Garments, AM Tex, and Beacon Impex (from the 132 kV Bhawana Grid Station), Taja Beerwala (from the same grid), and Lalian City, Kalowal, Abdullah Shah Shaheen, and Ahmad Nagar (from the 132 kV Lalian Grid Station). The Pathankot and New Ahmad Nagar feeders (from the 132 kV Chenab Nagar Grid Station) will also experience power outages.
Furthermore, from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM, the VAC One, Garment City, Chawla Enterprises, Sameera Fabrics, and Tricon Beverages feeders (from the 132 kV VAC Grid Station) will be affected. From 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM, the Nyamoana, Roshanwala, MGM, and Chenab Garden areas (from the 132 kV Samundri Road Grid Station) will also face power interruptions.
Additionally, areas including Four Seasons, Miyani, Ilyas Garden, Dasuha, Defence Paradise, Aminabad, Nawabanwala, Nisar Colony, Gulshan Iqbal Colony, Masoodabad, Mujahidabad, Pepsi, Muzaffar Colony, Government General Hospital, Ahmad Nagar, Barkatpura, Falco Textile, Miyani, Samundri Road, D-Type, Korian Road, Al-Faisal, New Iqbal Colony, M Ali Street, and Data Street (from the 132 kV Thikriwala Grid Station) will experience a power outage from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
The same situation applies to Falco Textile, New Iqbal Colony, Samundri Road, Samanabad, Aminabad, Four Seasons, Korian Road, Nawabanwala, and Dasuha feeders (from the 132 kV Samundri Road Grid Station).
FESCO has urged residents to make necessary arrangements and expressed regret for any inconvenience these essential upgrades may cause.
