Pakistan Sent of Aid to Palestine
A special plane carrying 100 tons of important aid will leave Islamabad airport on Monday. This shows Pakistan’s strong support for the Palestinian people who are in great need.
The aid includes:
65 tons of canned food
20 tons of dry milk and baby milk
5 tons of biscuits
10 tons of medicine
This aid is for the people of Gaza. Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, ordered this help.
The Pakistani government arranged this aid, and the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is handling it. This is the initial flight of two, which will collectively transport 200 tons of aid.
A farewell ceremony took place. Notable attendees included Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and NDMA Chairman Lt Gen Inam Haider Malik. The Palestinian Ambassador to Pakistan, along with representatives from the Al-Khidmat Foundation and other high-ranking officials, were also present.
At the ceremony, Deputy PM Dar said:
Pakistan has now sent 17 aid shipments to Gaza, weighing 1,715 tons in total.
After the second flight in the coming days, this will reach 1,815 tons.
Pakistan is deeply committed to helping Gaza and works with local and international aid groups.
He praised the NDMA and groups like Alkhidmat Foundation for their hard work.
Pakistan will keep supporting the Palestinian people and send more aid as needed.
The Ambassador of Palestine expressed gratitude to the citizens of Pakistan for their assistance to Gaza in this challenging period.. Pakistan remains strongly committed to supporting Gaza politically and by sending aid.
