Friend Map Instagram's new feature
Technology company Meta has introduced “Friend Map”: Instagram’s new feature, on its social platform, which some users are calling a ‘danger’ to privacy.
If the new feature is used, it shows your followers on a map where you are at the moment.
If you have posted or shared an Insta Story from a location and tagged the location, it tells your friends when you were at that location.
Instagram says you can choose to show your location only to followers who follow you and you follow them.
