The summer break for schools in Punjab is set to conclude on August 15, yet parents are still waiting for confirmation regarding a possible extension from the provincial government.
As per media reports, a notification released in May indicated that all public and private schools would reopen on August 15, 2025, signaling the start of academic activities once again.
A low turnout is anticipated on the first day back, and if no extension is granted, schools are likely to fully resume academic activities by August 18, following the weekend.
Up to this point, the provincial government has not revealed any intentions to prolong the summer holidays. Officials have mentioned that any decisions will be made after assessing the current weather conditions.
Single Shift Schools:
Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM
Double Shift Schools:
Morning Shift
Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM
Evening Shift
Monday to Thursday: 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Friday: 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM
