On Monday, the cost of 24-karat gold increased by Rs. 500 per tola, attaining a value of Rs. 359,500, which is an increase from Rs. 359,000 the day before, as reported by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
This follows a sharp rise of Rs. 6,100 per tola on Saturday.
Price Breakdown:
10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs. 429, now selling at Rs. 308,213 (previously Rs. 307,784).
10 grams of 22-karat gold increased to Rs. 282,529 (from Rs. 282,145).
Silver prices remained unchanged at Rs. 3,953 per tola and Rs. 3,389 per 10 grams.
Global Market Update:
International gold prices went up by $5, reaching $3,368 per ounce (from $3,363).
Silver prices also rose slightly to $37.20 per ounce (from $37.01).
Gold prices have been fluctuating recently, with a notable jump over the weekend. Meanwhile, silver rates in Pakistan stayed stable.
