Pak Tractor Manufacturing Company is launching three new tractor models with horsepower between 105 and 140, which is considerably greater than the existing 75 HP machines typically utilized by farmers.
CEO Humza Wazir exclusively informed ProPakistani that these new models are being introduced in partnership with YTO Group, the largest tractor manufacturer in China. Initially, the company will import Completely Built Units (CBUs), but there are plans to establish a local assembly line within a year.

Pakistan presently operates between 1,000 and 2,000 high-capacity tractors.The company aims to add 500 to 1,000 of their new tractors to the market each year in the first stage. They also plan awareness campaigns to encourage farmers to replace old equipment.
Buying: Regular customers will book tractors through dealers. The company itself will handle large orders (10-30 tractors at once) from big farms or institutions.
Government Help: These new tractors will be eligible for an upcoming government loan scheme offering interest-free loans for big farm machines.
