This remote sensing satellite will be launched from Xichang Society in China on July 31.

The satellite will help in monitoring crops, planning accurate agricultural information and monitoring floods, earthquakes and landslides.
The spokesperson of Suparco says that the satellite will also play a role in monitoring the melting of glaciers and deforestation.
The satellite will also help in monitoring national development projects including CPEC.
The satellite will prove to be a major milestone in environmental monitoring and natural resource management.
