
Pakistan's trade deficit has increased by 44%, reaching $2.75 billion in July.
In July 2025, Pakistan faced a trade deficit of $2.75 billion, marking an increase of more than 44 percent compared to the $1.90 billion deficit reported in the same month the previous year.
When comparing month-to-month, the trade deficit rose by 16 percent from the $2.372 billion deficit noted in June 2025.
Balance of Trade

Exports in July 2025 saw a year-on-year increase of 16.9 percent and an 8.9 percent rise month-on-month, totaling $2.69 billion.
At the same time, imports surged by 29.2 percent year-on-year and by 12.4 percent month-on-month, reaching $5.4 billion.
