
Rising Landslide is harmfull
Due to ongoing rainfall and a Rising Landslide, the Murree Traffic Police has released a safety advisory for tourists intending to visit the area.
Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Waseem Akhtar has urged residents to avoid unnecessary travel to Murree under the current weather circumstances. He cautioned that the persistent rains have heightened the risk of landslides, which could pose significant safety hazards on mountainous roads.
Drivers are advised to proceed with caution on wet roads, especially on steep and winding paths. The advisory also recommends using fog lights and hazard signals during periods of low visibility caused by rain or fog.
